Reason

On 29 July at 01:07 (CEST), a wildfire started in the municipality of Fermoselle (Zamora) in Spain very close to the Portugal-Spain border. At triggering it had spread to more than 500 hectares and remains active at Level 2, affecting population centers (confinements and evacuations). It is also affecting the Arribes del Duero Protected Natural Area. The fire could spread to Portugal. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping is requested to provide initial rough estimation, fire extent and damage assessment emergency mapping.
